TUNE-IN ALERT: Erica and Warryn Campbell and family are in the spotlight in TV ONE's new docuseries 'We're the Campbell's'



(Los Angeles, CA) – June 12, 2018 – TV One hosted a red-carpet premiere for their brand new docu-series “We’re The Campbells,” starring gospel music superstar Erica Campbell and mega producer Warryn Campbell. The premiere event was held at the Harmony Gold Theater in Los Angeles, CA. Following the screening, Lee Bailey of EURWeb.com hosted a Q&A with attending cast members.



Cast members in attendance included Erica and Warryn’s children Krista, Wozy and Zaya, GooGoo Atkins, JoiStarr (Warryn’s sister), Sandra Campbell (Warry’s mother), Ms. Honey Atkins (Erica’s mother), Alana Jamison (Erica’s sister), Shanta Atkins (Erica’s sister) and Desmond Jamison (brother-in law). VIP’s in attendance at the premiere included: Shanice Wilson, Tiffany Black (“When Love Kills”), Kelly Perine (“One On One”), Jason McGee (My Block recording artist), J-Boog (“B2K”), AD Dolphin (Dherbs.com), B. Slade, Dorion Renaud (“In The Cut”), Dorien Wilson (“In The Cut”) and more. 



 The nine-episode docu-series gives viewers an intimate glimpse into the lives of Gospel entertainment power couple Warryn and Erica Campbell, as they tackle the everyday struggles that come with balancing family and work, nurturing their marriage, building their individual careers, and fostering their faith; all while raising their three children Warryn, Zaya and teenager Krista.

Alabama Pastor Shot and Killed in Domestic Incident

Pastor Da’Quarius Green , a 31-year-old leader of Elba Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Alabama, was shot on Dec. 23, 2025 and died several days later in the hospital after a domestic dispute at his home in Level Plains . Authorities have described the shooting as a “domestic incident” involving his wife,  𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐲. Local news station WTVY reported "c ourt records show that Green was arrested on misdemeanor domestic violence charges 3 times in Houston County last year, with each of those cases dismissed. Also in 2024, a woman filed a protection order against Green in Houston County in which she believed him to be a danger," but did not confirm Mrs. Massey as the suspect.    Various reports indicate the couple's children were present when he was shot in the head.   In one instance, a woman who shared children with Green alleged that he repeatedly struck her , including once when she was pregnant.
