COMEDIAN GEORGE LOPEZ, GRAMMY-NOMINATED SINGER KENNY LATTIMORE AND MORE JOIN THE DL HUGHLEY SHOW



SILVER SPRING, MD - April 12, 2019 - Comedian, actor and REACH Media Syndicated Radio host, DL Hughley brings an original brand of comedy and commentary to nighttime television with his new talk show THE DL HUGHLEY SHOW. The series airs Monday through Thursday at 11/10C PM with an encore the following day at 11/10C AM only on TV One.

Joining DL in the studio next week are comedian Russell Peters on Monday, April 15; actor/comedian George Lopez on Tuesday, April 16; Grammy-nominated singer Kenny Lattimore on Wednesday, April 17; and actor/comedian Chris Spencer on Thursday, April 18. The series dives head first into the hot topics of the day and dishes on the latest news, entertainment, pop culture and what's trending in social media. Always insightful and informative, Hughley and his co-host Jasmine Sanders use humor to deliver everything from hard news to lighter fare. The nighttime show offers everything from covering the day's major headlines and roundtable discussions to celebrity guest interviews and comedy bits.

THE DL HUGHLEY SHOW is produced for TV One by Pygmy Wolf Productions with DL Hughley and KP Anderson serving as Executive Producers. Sonya Vaughn and Charlie Gerencer serve as Co-Executive Producers and Jade Mills serves as Executive in Charge of Production. Melanie Massie serves as Talent Producer. For TV One, Susan Henry and Regina Thomas serve as Executive Producers in Charge of Production.

Alabama Pastor Shot and Killed in Domestic Incident

Pastor Da’Quarius Green , a 31-year-old leader of Elba Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Alabama, was shot on Dec. 23, 2025 and died several days later in the hospital after a domestic dispute at his home in Level Plains . Authorities have described the shooting as a “domestic incident” involving his wife,  𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐲. Local news station WTVY reported "c ourt records show that Green was arrested on misdemeanor domestic violence charges 3 times in Houston County last year, with each of those cases dismissed. Also in 2024, a woman filed a protection order against Green in Houston County in which she believed him to be a danger," but did not confirm Mrs. Massey as the suspect.    Various reports indicate the couple's children were present when he was shot in the head.   In one instance, a woman who shared children with Green alleged that he repeatedly struck her , including once when she was pregnant.
