FIRST LOOK: OWN renews 'Love and Marraige Huntsville' for September return





Los Angeles - OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network has unveiled the explosive new trailer for its hit reality series "Love & Marriage: Huntsville," which returns with all new episodes Saturday, September 7 (9 p.m. - 10 p.m. ET/PT).
The series, which follows three powerful African American couples working in real estate in the thriving city of Huntsville, Alabama: Melody and Martell Holt, Marsau and LaTisha Scott and Maurice and Kimberlee Scott, will also feature a new couple Cedarric and Adaira Collins, both good friends of the Holts and Scotts. 
This season being a power couple doesn't mean the perfect couple as Martell works to try and win back his estranged wife Melody. LaTisha doesn't allow her husband Marsau to get in her way as she puts her homemaker days behind to put her real estate license to good use. Kimberlee is forced to reconcile with the challenges of a blended family as she deals with Maurice's son and ex-wife's potential move to Huntsville. While there's still a lot of love to go around, neither business nor pleasure seem to be getting any less hectic for these couples

Alabama Pastor Shot and Killed in Domestic Incident

Pastor Da’Quarius Green , a 31-year-old leader of Elba Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Alabama, was shot on Dec. 23, 2025 and died several days later in the hospital after a domestic dispute at his home in Level Plains . Authorities have described the shooting as a “domestic incident” involving his wife,  𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐲. Local news station WTVY reported "c ourt records show that Green was arrested on misdemeanor domestic violence charges 3 times in Houston County last year, with each of those cases dismissed. Also in 2024, a woman filed a protection order against Green in Houston County in which she believed him to be a danger," but did not confirm Mrs. Massey as the suspect.    Various reports indicate the couple's children were present when he was shot in the head.   In one instance, a woman who shared children with Green alleged that he repeatedly struck her , including once when she was pregnant.
