Byron Allen goes to the Supreme Court

READ THE TRANSCRIPT OF THE SUPREME COURT HEARING OF COMCAST V. NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF AFRICAN AMERICAN-OWNED MEDIA

The day that Byron Allen hoped would never come has come.  On Wednesday, his lawsuit against Comcast had its day in court.  Allen had been in a legal battle having sued the cable distribution giant for $20 billion and won twice in the lower courts in 2018.  The  case, which recently caught the attention of the African American community, made it all the way up to the Supreme Court, but not by Allen's doing.  During his media tour, he explained that after winning he was taken to court.  His opponent took issue with the "just cause" clause in the statute that would require him to prove that the sole reason he was being discriminated against was because of his race
