ALL THINGS ADRIENNE WITH ADRIENNE HOUGHTON BREAKS DOWN BESTIE BEHAVIOR WITH JULISSA BERMUDEZ ON SATURDAY, JANUARY 18 AT 1 P.M. ET/ ENCORE AT 11 P.M. ET

(SILVER SPRING, MD) - January 16, 2020 - Adrienne Houghton takes girl time to the next level when she sits down with her best friend Julissa Bermudez to chat about their fabulous friendship on ALL THINGS ADRIENNE WITH ADRIENNE HOUGHTON on Saturday, January 18 at 1 P.M. ET/ Encore at 11 P.M ET. The pair, who became fast friends while shooting a film early in their career, discuss their common background as New York natives, managing their on-screen careers, championing their Latin culture, and even their cellulite woes.
Here are a few of Adrienne and Julissa's top tips for building a BFF bond:
  • Find a friend that you are comfortable doing everything with or even nothing at all. Julissa mentions that they often prepare for roles together, stalk the best hors d'oeuvre pass at parties, and spend hang out sessions scrolling and dishing on random social media finds.
  • Your bestie should be your cheerleader and support your dreams. Adrienne shares a story of how she - with limited information or preparation - supported Julissa through  a reality show pitch that ultimately became their hit series Empire Girls.
  • Have Compassion. Adrienne reflects on a time when, after an unusual weight gain, Julissa lovingly encouraged her to be, feel and look her best by supporting her through her wellness evolution.
Throughout the season of ALL THINGS ADRIENNE WITH ADRIENNE HOUGHTON, Adrienne offers #HiLow hacks on getting glam without breaking the bank! Over the years, she's perfected her tips and tricks for mixing high-end and inexpensive pieces in all things beauty, fashion, home decor, and entertaining. Now she's sharing them all with you!

U.S. Murder Offenders by Race: 2023 FBI Data

Data on murders (homicides) committed by race in the United States primarily comes from the FBI's Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) Program, which relies on reports from law enforcement agencies. The most recent detailed breakdown available is for 2023, but due to the FBI's transition to a new reporting system (NIBRS), not all agencies submitted complete data—only about 70-80% of the population was covered, so totals are undercounts. These figures represent known offenders (where race was identified), not arrests or convictions, and include single-offender and multi-offender incidents. In 2023, there were approximately 15,708 known murder offenders with identified race. Here's the breakdown: Race Number of Offenders Percentage of Known Offenders Rate per 100,000 Population White 8,842 56.3% 3.51 Black or African American 6,405 40.8% 14.00 Other (American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian, Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander) 461 2.9% 1.31 Notes on the...
