THE O’BRIEN FAMILY SAGA’S EXCITING SEASON FINALE! CHANGE IS COMING FOR THE O’BRIENS ON THE SEASON ENDER OF ‘CHESAPEAKE SHORES’ PREMIERING OCTOBER 17, ON HALLMARK CHANNEL

 


STUDIO CITY, CA –  On the season finale of “Chesapeake Shores,” the O’Briens come to a crossroad in “That Old Feeling,” premiering Sunday, October 17 (8 p.m. ET/PT), on Hallmark Channel. Robert Buckley (“iZombie”), Meghan Ory (“Once Upon a Time”), Treat Williams (“Blue Bloods,” Hair), Diane Ladd (“Enlightened”), Barbara Niven (“The Crossword Mysteries”), Laci J. Mailey (“Falling Skies”), Emilie Ullerup (“Sanctuary”), Brendan Penny (“BH90210”) and Andrew Francis (“Christmas She Wrote”) star. Evan (Buckley) makes a meaningful gesture to ask Abby (Ory) out on a date. As Abby considers Evan’s question, Jay (Greyston Holt, “Bitten”) also opens up about his feelings. Mick (Williams) and Megan (Niven) announce plans to take some time off to travel the world together, but do not get the reaction they were expecting from the family. Complicating matters, Megan receives a tempting career opportunity that would take her to California. Jess faces the consequences of an emotional email she sent in the middle of the night, while David (Carlo Marks, “Christmas with the Darlings”) discovers what his father’s frantically out-of-character phone call to him really meant. As Kevin (Penny) struggles with how to help Sarah (Jessica Sipos, “Charmed”), he opens up to his parents against her wishes. Worried about Connor’s (Francis) health as he prepares his case to clear Luke (Stephen Huszar, “Letterkenny”), Margaret (Raylene Harewood, “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow”) tries an unconventional approach to get him to relax…s’mores. “Chesapeake Shores,” is from Chesapeake Shores S5 Production Inc. in association with Daniel L. Paulson Entertainment. Dan Paulson, Matt Drake, Phoef Sutton, Nancey Silvers and Sherryl Woods are the executive producers. Alabama Pastor Shot and Killed in Domestic Incident

Pastor Da’Quarius Green , a 31-year-old leader of Elba Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Alabama, was shot on Dec. 23, 2025 and died several days later in the hospital after a domestic dispute at his home in Level Plains . Authorities have described the shooting as a “domestic incident” involving his wife,  𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐲. Local news station WTVY reported "c ourt records show that Green was arrested on misdemeanor domestic violence charges 3 times in Houston County last year, with each of those cases dismissed. Also in 2024, a woman filed a protection order against Green in Houston County in which she believed him to be a danger," but did not confirm Mrs. Massey as the suspect.    Various reports indicate the couple's children were present when he was shot in the head.   In one instance, a woman who shared children with Green alleged that he repeatedly struck her , including once when she was pregnant.
