SWVs Coko and son were stranded on I-95

R&B singer Coko and her son were among the Virginia motorists stranded in the pile up on I-95 following a major snow storm this week.  We are happy to report that they are fine.  Some drivers were stalled for as long as 24 hours.  Coko and her son Jaye were on a road trip when they were stuck in the traffic for 10 hours she explained on Instagram.

Former governor, now Sen. Tim Kaine was also got stuck while commuting to DC. There are still no real answers as to why the state was not better prepared to handle the situation. The snow apparently fell faster than it toook to get the road propoerly alsted to prevent accumulation. A collision involving tractor trailors that occured early in the day caused a chain reaction that triggered the back ups on Monday.

For Clemmons, the ordeal was grueling.

“I have NEVER experienced anything like this before!!! I thank God for keeping us safe!!”

The Virgnia Department of Transportation re-oped the road by Wednesday after crews worked to get stalled cars out of the way, but it won't be a road the singer will be traveling anytime soon, if ever.

“No more road trips!,” Coko typed.
