Three gospel songs about worry

3 GOSPEL SONGS ABOUT WORRY

HIS EYE IS ON THE SPARROW
I DON'T KNOW ABOUT TOMORROW
THIS IS YOUR WORLD

In our morally declining world that is plagued by so many problems it is easy to worry. Many of the favored Christian hymns have been inspired by scripture that tell us worrying is not productive. The words of Ira Stanphil's "I Don't Know About Tomorrow" are reflected in Luke 12 which reads: 25Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26Look at the birds of the air: They do not sow or reap or gather into barns—and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?. . .34Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Today has enough trouble of its own.

The Slice rounded up 3 songs that pull from the message in scripture -- that God IS IN CONTROL AND looks after us all. There is no need to occupy one's thoughts with worry becasue worry can't change a thing. One song is a traditional church hym, the other a solo, standard titled HIS EYE IS ON THE SPARROW and the last a contemporary song by Jonathan McReynolds, HIS IS YOUR WORLD. Listen to any one of them or all 3 when feeling afraid, discouraged, or worried.
