Biden announces job-generating tech hubs

(TSN):Pres. Joe Biden has announced that technology hubs will be spread across 32 states and Puerto Rico to help propagate innovation and generate new jobs over multiple industries. It's the latest show of his economic agenda Bidenomics at work. The president thinks such an implementation will enable the US to lead the world in technology and multiple other fields.
“We’re going to invest in critical technologies like biotechnology, critical materials, quantum computing, advanced manufacturing — so the U.S. will lead the world again in innovation across the board,” President Joe Biden said. “I truly believe this country is about to take off.”

According to the White House, "Tech Hubs bring together private industry, state and local governments, institutions of higher education, labor unions, Tribal communities and nonprofit organizations to compete for up to $75 million implementation grants to further develop these fields and make transformative investments in innovation, supply chain resilience, and job creation.
The tech hubs are funded through the CHIPS and Science Acr and managed by the Commerce Department Economic Development Administration which offers cities up to $500 million in grants.
A Virginia-based company, Advanced Pharmaceutical Manufacturing (APM) Tech Hub was an awardee. Led by the Commonwealth Center for Advanced Manufacturing, aims APM to accelerate the growth, innovation, and sustainability of the U.S.-based Advanced Pharmaceutical Manufacturing industry to re-shore safe and affordable medicines via innovative hybrid and continuous flow manufacturing technologies.
“All this is part of my strategy to invest in America and invest in Americans. It’s working—we’re creating good jobs in communities all across the country,” an enthused Biden stated.
