It's DOVE Awards Week. Christian music star Tauren Wella will host the 54th Annual show on October 17, airing exclusively on TBN October 20. Brandon Lake leads the nods with 11 nominations. The "Gratitude" singer is in the running for the coveted Artist of the Year title that was earned by CeCe Winans last year. CeCe Winans' "Goodness of God" has been nominated for Song of the Year. and she has been nominated for Artist of the Year agian. Stand outs in other categories are Namomi Raine for Artist of the Year and Michael W. Smith who is twice nominated in the Inspirational song of the Year category. Both Lauren Daigle and Michael W. Smith have won Artist of the year twice. Performers include for King & Country, Brandon Lake, Katy Nichole, Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Miel San Marcos and Zach Williams with Walker Hayes were announced as the initial round of performers With the theme of "Joyful Echo" the Gospel Music Association announced nominations in August.
