CREATIVE EMMY AWARD WINNERS ANNOUNCED OF DAY ONE ON 75th ANNUAL EVENT


It was a huge night at the CREATIVE Arts Emmys for HBO's "The Last of Us" and Netflix's "Wednesday." Awards were presented in 49 categories. On here we are providing a snapshot of the biggest wins from day one.

The run up saw HBO dominating the nominations with its heavy hitting series "Succession." "House of the Dragon," "The Last of Us" and "The White Lotus" were also multi-nominated with "The Last of Us" being the top winner. Storm Reid and Nick Offerman both won for their guest appearances in the drama series.

Taking away 8 awards, the show that is based on a video game led with wins. also won for Outstanding Prosthetic Makeup, Visual Effects, Main Title Design, Sound Editing, Sound Mixing and Picture Editing.

"Wednesday" received 5 wins, none for cast members.
They won for Contemporary Costumes for a Series, Contemporary Makeup (Non-Prosthetic), Production Design for a Narrative Contemporary Program (One Hour or More), Composition for a Series (Original Drama Score) and Original Main Title Theme Music.
