RNC Week To Carry On After Trump Assassination Attempt

The 2024 Republican National Convention is set to begin today, July 15, and will run through July 18 in Milwaukee, Wiscons.. This event will officially nominate former President Donald Trump as the GOP candidate for the upcoming presidential election on Thursday.


Over 4 days stars and surrogates of the party will serve as speakers. Nikki Haley was a last minute addition.  Others scheduled to speak are:


  • Tucker Carlson, Television host
  • Savannah Chrisley, TV personality
  • Franklin Graham, Faith leader
  • Lee Greenwood, Country musician
  • Chris Janson, Country musician
  • Charlie Kirk, CEO of Turning Point USA
  • Amber Rose, Rapper and influencer

The convention comes shortly after an assassination attempt on Trump, which has heightened security measure.   The RNC quickly released a statement on Saturday after knowing Trump would recover saying the events would proceed as planned.  The event will include a roll call vote to confirm the nomination and the adoption of a new party platform.
