The decorations include 10,000 feet of ribbon, 28,000 ornaments, and 165,000 lights. There's also a special Gold Star tree honoring fallen military families and a gingerbread replica of the White House with a snow-covered South Lawn and an ice-skating rink.
For the tour, a special book titled "2024 White House Holiday Guidebook" was created. It features beautiful illustrations and details about the decorations, along with messages from President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden. The guidebook aims to share the spirit of the season and the story behind each element of the decor.
