Pastor Jamal Bryant leads Target fast

 


Social Justice and Civil Rights Pastor Jamal Bryant is using the Lenten season to lead a fast from spending at Target. The Target fast kicked off on March 5th to hold the store accountable for making a commitment to the African American community that it reneged on in compliance with. President Donald Trump's DEI policies.

Bryant began the fast on March 5th. And it will last until April 17th. It entails African Americans. Ceasing shopping and investments into the corporate structure of Target. Due to. A Reneging on a promise. To invest. Billions by the end of 2025. After the killing of George Floyd corporations like Target proactively implemented policies to support Black products.  The shopping black out is a response to show the economic prowess of the black community, which is the largest spending segment in the nation. To critics who may say that. Harris needs to focus on. Ministry and preaching the gospel. He said that what he is doing mimics Christ kicking over tables when God's people were mistreated.

Brayant has mobilized 150,000 supporters. 

Chicago Pastor Otis Moss the III drop target for a month but extended his corporate fast to Walmart and any other establishment that is known to have taken African American spending for granted.
