TSU Students Kick Uninvited White MAGA Debaters Off Campus

On Wednesday, , individuals associated with a group called “Fearless Debates” (which draws inspiration from Turning Point USA / Charlie Kirk) appeared on the campus of Tennessee State University (TSU) -- ubinvited. They were heckled off the HBCU by students.

They showed up carrying signs with messages such as “DEI Should Be Illegal” and “Deport All Illegals Now.” INw student told the local news they should have known not to come.

The group was not affiliated with the university and had not obtained prior approval for a demonstration, which is required under TSU policy.

In response, campus police and staff escorted the individuals off the campus.

TSU issued a statement saying that at all times, its students behaved “professional and respectful[ly].”

Civil rights / community groups, such as the Nashville NAACP, condemned the stunt, calling it “an intentional effort to antagonize, disrupt, and instill fear” in a space that should be “safe, affirming, and supportive of Black students.”
