NeNe Leakes is making her way back to Bravo — at least briefly. TMZ reports that the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star will appear in the network’s upcoming series The Real Housewives: Ultimate Road Trip, a working title first teased by Andy Cohen at BravoCon.
While Bravo didn’t announce any cast members during the reveal, production sources say Leakes will have a notable presence when the cross‑franchise series stops in Atlanta. Her appearance is not a full‑time return to RHOA; instead, she’ll join the show only for the Atlanta segment, where several Housewives from different cities are expected to pop in throughout the multi‑city journey.
The project is being positioned as the next evolution of Ultimate Girls Trip, marking 20 years of the Real Housewives franchise by revisiting iconic locations and familiar faces from across Bravo’s universe.
Leakes’ return comes nearly four years after she exited RHOA following Season 12 and two years after she filed — and later withdrew — a federal lawsuit accusing Bravo, NBCUniversal, and production partners of fostering a racist and hostile work environment. The case was ultimately resolved through arbitration.
