Tina Campbell Earnings Revealed In Divorce Court Requesting Custody And Elimination of Spousal Support

SUMMARY: Divorce filings reveal gospel singer Tina Campbell is struggling financially and says she cannot afford spousal support to her ex‑husband, drummer Glendon “Teddy” Campbell. Tina told the court she earns about $5,000 a month but faces nearly $12,000 in expenses, while Teddy reports monthly income of $7,500. In a new filing, she is seeking primary custody of their two teenage children and asking the judge to block any future spousal‑support requests. The “Pray for Me” singer, known from Mary Mary, made clear she does not have the kind of wealth often assumed of celebrity artists.

Divorce court records reveal that gospel singer Tina Campbell is struggling to make ends meet and can not afford to pay spousal support.

Tina, 52 revealed to the courts that she is financially in the red and is attempting to block any future request for money from her ex, drummer Glendon "Teddy" Campbell. She disclosed that she makes around $5,000 per month and has nearly $12,000 in expenses. Teddy reported $7500 in monthly earnings. Neither requested spousal support when they divorced in April or to split assets.

In an ongoing proceeding Tina filed for custody of their two teen age children and included a request to avoid spousal support, perhaps pre-emptively. Tina asked for primary legal and physical custody of their two minor children, Santana and Glendon Jr. The filing states that she is open to Teddy having scheduled visitation time with the children. The final custody order has yet to be determined. unless the former couple reaches a private settlement outside of court.

Finances often play into a judge's custody decisions. The age and needs of the children may be considered.

The "Pray For Me" singer is from the celebrated group named Mary Mary but the numbers she shared make it clear that she does not have Mary J. Blige level money to pay her former spouse alimony. (SIDE BAR: In Blige's divorce settlement she paid Kendu Isaac $30,000 per month!)

U.S. Murder Offenders by Race: 2023 FBI Data

Data on murders (homicides) committed by race in the United States primarily comes from the FBI's Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) Program, which relies on reports from law enforcement agencies. The most recent detailed breakdown available is for 2023, but due to the FBI's transition to a new reporting system (NIBRS), not all agencies submitted complete data—only about 70-80% of the population was covered, so totals are undercounts. These figures represent known offenders (where race was identified), not arrests or convictions, and include single-offender and multi-offender incidents. In 2023, there were approximately 15,708 known murder offenders with identified race. Here's the breakdown: Race Number of Offenders Percentage of Known Offenders Rate per 100,000 Population White 8,842 56.3% 3.51 Black or African American 6,405 40.8% 14.00 Other (American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian, Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander) 461 2.9% 1.31 Notes on the...
